Yes. Ottawa Easy Storage is designed as a drive-up self-storage facility, which means you can park close to your unit for easier loading and unloading. It is designed to make move-ins, move-outs, and frequent visits fast and easy.

Access hours are 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., seven days a week, 365 days a year. If you need special access, please contact us to discuss your options.

The facility is built with security in mind: AI-enabled security cameras, bright LED lighting throughout the property, and optional Storage Defender smart unit monitoring, which texts you if someone accesses your unit.

Yes. Every new rental includes a new lock and keys at no additional charge ($15 value).

Yes. Tenants must provide proof of coverage for stored property. Many renters use their homeowners or renters insurance, while others choose a protection plan during rental. Our protection plans offer low monthly payments and a $100 deductible for covered events (and no deductible if there is a break-in).

You will need basic contact information, payment details, and a signed lease agreement. After the lease is completed, we may also request a government-issued ID, proof of insurance, and vehicle information if needed.

No. We do not require a security deposit. There is a one-time $20 administrative fee for new rentals.

Yes. Rentals are month-to-month, so there is no long-term commitment.

The minimum rental period is one full month. Because leases are month to month, some facilities increase rental rates during the first year. Ottawa Easy Storage provides a one year RATE LOCK Guarantee! Make sure whoever you ultimately choose to rent from offers you a fixed rate for your first year.

Yes. You can rent online 24/7 without meeting the facility manager in person. Most tenants rent online and move in the same day.

Yes, but if you're moving in within the next few days, we recommend renting instead. Renting completes your lease so your unit is ready right away and you can move in the same day. A reservation only holds a unit for a future move-in date. Renting online takes just a few minutes, 24/7.

We accept credit card, debit card, ACH, and check. Most tenants use Autopay with a credit card. We do not accept cash or keep cash on site.

Yes. Autopay is the easiest way to pay rent each month and avoid late fees.

Of course you can! Just call us at (815) 665-0400 or email info@OttawaEasyStorage.com, tell us the size you'd like, and we'll move you into an available unit. Promotional rates don't apply when an existing tenant changes unit sizes.

Yes, indoors. You can store a car, truck, boat, RV, trailer, motorcycle, or ATV inside any of our enclosed drive-up units (5x10, 10x10, 10x15, 10x20, 10x25, 20x25, and 20x35) as long as it fits. Motorcycles fit easily in a 5x10, while cars, boats, and RVs need one of our larger units. We don't offer open-lot outdoor parking.

Yes. We will be happy to arrange a time for you to view a unit before renting so you can choose the right size.

Yes. A motorcycle easily fits in our 5x10 drive-up unit, and you can ride or roll it right up to the door. Need room for gear, a trailer, or a second bike? Step up to a 10x10 or 10x15.

All of our units are fully enclosed drive-up units with roll-up doors, so everything you store is inside and protected from the weather, and you can still park right at your door to load and unload.
